Red on Red?....too much for me.
I like my interior with a little bit of contrast. |

That's a helluva deal. I'd be VERY tempted if it starts up cold without any chain rattle.
The imola interior trims need to be swapped for titanium or brushed aluminum ones though to aid with contrast as jopecasa said.

Incorrect rims. They're from a 4.4 Dent the size of a tennis ball between the kidney grills Rear right shock is on it's last. Car's not sagging, but when going over a bump it makes a knocking sound Driver seat shows normal wear. All other seats are in very good condition No rattle at startup nor any wooden knocking while running(none that I could detect) Rear tonneau cover is not seating correctly within it's tract. Key has been abused, so will need to change. Remote function does not work. Have to put key into door to lock and unlock No visible undercarriage damage Leaking Valve cover gaskets. Slight odor of burnt oil under the hood AC blows hot. Exterior paint is as to be expected with age of the car. Not bad, but not the shiniest. Can use a buff job. The seller was willing to sell for $6200 at the time I saw the car. My buddy wanted it and then backed out when I said I don't have time to fix it. IMO, for an enthusiast, $6200 is a steal. |

^Great information for anyone in the market. Thanks for posting. $6200 is even better and would be a great pick up for an enthusiast as you mention.

I love the sporty M5 cluster with the RPM oil warm up lights, but man the red light is so bright at night it constantly drives my eyes to check the cluster because in my peripheral vision it looks like a red warning light came on.....am I the only one?

Got my resonators removed a few days ago, holy cow, what a difference!
It's like night and day, I wish I had done this sooner!

Also, is it still civil enough to drive with a family.

I bought mine after the resonators were removed, so I don't have the before and after comparison, but it's more than civil enough. Definitely not obtrusive at all, it never gets in the way of conversation within the cabin with the windows up or down. You barely hear it at idle inside but WOT sounds awesome while not being obnoxiously loud - definitely not at the level of any of the "performance package" pony cars offered today. I prefer to have the sunroof in vent mode, it picks up a little more of the V8 burble, but again is not obtrusive (the wind noise form my load bars for my ski box during ski season is louder than the exhaust). There is no drone within the cabin. The sound is addictive though, on the rare occasion when my girlfriend drives, I lose 1-2 mpg because she "likes the sound," it probably doesn't help that there's a few more HP than her 323i when she steps on the fun pedal...
