OK, not everything is perfect but, I still think that the DRL's which are generally at a low "wattage" will not interfere with the visual of a motorcycle, (bright headlight) and the safety aspect is very real for everyone....(too bad that they all don't use the BMW idea of using the "angel eyes" as DRL's, but it looks like a few of the newer cars are starting to use led strips as DRL/running lights)

Sharp looking plug. My free one does the job though, I don't feel like opening up that hatch panel again LOL

I would never delete my rear wiper. In fact I was looking at the E70 conversion rear wiper. One of the members did one, and I think it looks real good.

Haven't deleted mine because I occasionally use it, but if it starts skipping like I've heard some do, that thing's coming off!

^That mod is coming next lol.
I have to say, even after 2+ years since I brought this up and performed on my vehicle (and it was done years prior by other members on the forum), I still am shocked to say the least about the amount of hugely negative responses from people, as if its a critical piece of safety we are deleting. I see more positivity about running straight piped and catless. Rear wiper delete has been a popular modification on Volkswagen GTI's and Golfs for probably damn near close to 15 years now, no one has died from it. And the funniest part is that the people who actually have done it, I have yet to see them posting up that they couldn't live without it and had to reverse it lol

RB, I believe it just depends on the weather in your area. Does the vehicle look nicer with the delete, to me it absolutely does. But with my weather I'd not be able to go a few minutes (not exaggerating here sadly) on certain days. Sadly with our freeze/thaw cycles we get a LOT of window dirt. And these x5's love to cyclone dirt onto rear windows. But again,if I lived where they were not a necessity, I'd remove it too.

^^Mike totally agreed and understood as I mentioned on the last page, yes with Calgary winters I can imagine not the smartest mod. I do get a chuckle out of all the non-winter folk however that are viscerally negative towards it.
