Got 100% verification that my X lived it's life in California.

Mine lived 3/4 of it's life in CA but it definitely sunbaked the car for sure. Guess it's better then rust.

Mine was also a CA car for a portion of it's life, but I think it started out in Utah.

You're welcome Dblock!

Met up with a fellow Imola owner to hear the stock exhaust in person.

Sorry didn't take a video as it was windy and honestly they never come out right lol.

But in my opinion stock sounds much better than my car with just x-pipes.

Mine is definitely raspier and doesn't have as good of a tone (deep, bassy tone) as stock.

But sound is all subjective but I will definitely be putting a stock resonator back once it arrives.

As far as volume level goes it's about the same, maybe 10-15% louder with the X-pipe.

Mdaily needs running boards.

I think these trucks sound better with the factory resonator and deleted mufflers than with mufflers and deleted/swapped resonator. But as you say, sound is subjective.

Having said that my cutouts bypass the resonators and go into the Dinan mufflers only. Love the sound. Though I'm sure I'm losing some HP doing it that way.

I was willing to trade my running boards with him but I have a pair of Le Mans flares and only fit with the running boards so guess I’m keeping them for now.
