I messed with the ride height a lot today. Stupid old laptop battery keeps dying. Realized to really dial in the air, you need to drive it. Adjust. Raise or lower it. Drive. Adjust. Raise or lower. Drive till it goes to normal height. Adjust. Shit what a mission.

Finally got it to where I like it the most. Turned out that is about 3mm lower than spec. Lol.
Agreed. But at the same time, take an obvious hint.

I'm with you on the height adjustment, seems like everytime I adjust it, it goes back to where it was before. Maybe the foxwell isn't cutting it and need to bust out Ista/Inpa.

Took and about 6-7, maybe 8 full cycles of adjustment, raise/lower, drive, to get it dialed in. I made sure to keep going to the same flat parking lot to do measurements. I did the counts. Not the height. Height was giving me mad issues. I cleared the height completely and didn’t set it. Used only counts this time.

So far so good. Returns to correct height all the time now.

Loaded up the X5 with lots of goodies. 4 19" wheels plus 4 19" wheel/tire assemblies. Not too shabby.

Spent 4+ hours cleaning these style 230's yesterday. They are going on the new project.

On a side note... holy crap my neighbor's house looks terrible. Oh well, I guess you have to take the bad with the good when you don't have an HOA.

No, that's one is more a problem than a project that I foolishly said I would look at for a friend.

This is the project with the X5 style 132's on it from the aero truck I had. Was surprised, it didn't look half bad with them:

And a test fit of the new wheels:

Got this for $1200 in the below condition a little over a month ago. But there's no such thing as a cheap BMW right? Water intrusion flooded some modules and relays. I'll have about $3500 in it after making necessary repairs, maintenance, and replacing missing parts that the people working on it have lost over the years.

Thanks!

Not exactly though. We've been without a third vehicle for awhile and hate it. We also wanted something to drive that wasn't an SUV (my desire more than hers). Had to be practical though. E61 fits the bill perfectly as it has more interior and more cargo space than the x5's. She was shocked the first time we put the kids in it how spacious it is. Will be awesome after working out all the neglected BMW repair/maintenance kinks.
