Replaced both upper control arms and the driver side CV axle. My wobble is finally gone! And yes I preloaded everything before tightening. The reason I'm posting the picture is because I didn't remove the rotor or the brake caliper to take the CV axles out. I used this method on both sides and you're wasting time if you're taking them off unless you really just want to..

Agreed on rotor for CV: especially if you are replacing a control arm. I just disconnect from the shock tower and the "knuckle" will fold out of the way with the 3-4 ball joints still attached.

Yeah, timely, need to do both outer fronts on the 3.0.

Just did fuel filter and right front power window mechanism yesterday.

Had the LCD screen replaced with one I ordered off ebay and the viewing angle is off :/

Looks awesome and I do love the blacked out look, but if mine was black in Saudi.... It'd be like trying to touch a singularity while wearing a banana hammock.

I'm guessing Mother's Day isn't a thing over there either?

Whistle Routine Maintenance

Engine Flush
Engine Oil & Filter change.
R&R Drive & A/C Belt....

Here's where the fun started...

Busted the thermostat housing...replaced with new; $50.00.
Reset SVC lights.

Cleaned the driveway...

I've removed a number of cooling fans over the years; have 7 dedicated wrenches on the wall....but I got careless and the housing was very brittle. Once I got it out, I could break it by hand.

Cooling fan notes: 1-1/4" wrench; set it up and impact (wap it) the wrench to the right (clockwise). Re-thread counter-clockwise (funest part of every fan R&R)...

Advise to change that bugger out after 100k miles.

Got a airbag recall notice last month; dealer did a visual while it was there and quoted me $425.00 to chg belts and repl. coolant....nope!

Back on the road!
