One of my best buds thought he toasted a rod bearing for months. Then he figured out he had a loose spark plug.

"Thought a loose spark plug was a blown rod bearing" is going on his grave stone.

What did you do to / for your E53 today??
Wife teases me constantly about being overweight. Stop eating snacks etc.

I pulled out the scale and calendar and do some relative math;

I weigh just about 10# more than when we got married or 0.714#/yr

She weighs about 35# more or 2.5#/yr. (I do the math dramatically on a calculator of course).

I get to sleep on a couch for a few days

Worth it.

(Also I get away with it about once per two years so I have to play that card carefully but the ratio is approximately 100:1 so I definitely think it's fair)

I said so what? When we got married she was young....
