For most of my E53 ownership I was receiving subpar alignments. It wasn’t until I moved to Houston and had Bavarian Machine Specialties align the X after installing the H&R’s, that I realized how poor the previous alignments were.

Now that it has aligned correctly, the difference is night and day. Especially, with the 285/325’s and the H&R’s. It’s why is so hard to contemplate letting her go. There is not a vehicle of yet, that I have driven that compares.

The cornering is amazing in this tank!

Fact. It really doesn't handle the way it's weight would suggest. If only it had some more get up and go.

I like Plasti-Dip There is a learning curve to get right coat thickness, right, time between coats, and most importantly preparation. I had problems until I started going through the prep stages twice and only using their prep and care products.

Always use a regular automatic carwash. no problems.

Painted wheels and emblems about 4 or more ago. Always go through an automatic carwash. No problems. Have also painted engine cover, radiator support, top of airbox and some other plastic pieces about a year and a half ago. No problem there either.

^ Yep. The stuff sticks incredibly. Does have a rubber feel. Washing doesn't adversely affect the finish. Drying it sucks though. Best to use air as almost any cloth has a tendency to want to be grabbed by the plastidip. Microfiber, waffle weave, etc.

Put about 65 miles on Red today. Had to boost her to start so either the battery is fading.... Or I am mistreating it. Probably a little of both.

Bought a can of liquid moly motor oil saver. Gonna pour it into the M62 in my 4.6is. Hoping it would reduce the small but consistent oil leak on the engine.

Has anyone tried this product with good result? Want to combine this can with another liquid moly product, the
Mos2 engine oil treatment to reduce the lifter noise. Any recommendations?

Looking forward to hearing how this goes for you. I'm convinced their ceratec and MoS2 saved my M3s rod bearings.

Will do. Think it’ll be safe to combine the 2 cans together? I just changed the engine oil this week.

Don't know. I know with ceratec they suggest alternating it with MoS2.

Plasti-Dip has a spray that makes it much easier to wipe pieces down.

Changed the subframe bushings. Been chasing a deep rattle back there. This didn't fix it. Time to start replacing all the rear suspension parts. Only 60,000 miles on them, but they're from FCP so I can replace them for free. Thinking of putting poly bushings in back there as well.
