Started the Witch today and in a good news/bad news situation, I found that my tinnitus isn't as bad as I thought but my blower motor is 100% at the same frequency as the tinnitus I have.....

On our A/C, we had about 80-90% of the underside of the "evaporator unit coils" covered with the jelly/mold/scum, which must've accumulated just recently, as the condensate drain had backed up (I hadn't flushed it nor run vinegar thru it this year, to keep it clear). I'm marking the calendar to inspect and clean every month when I change the filters.

I have been inspecting and cleaning the exterior "condensing unit" already, vacuuming the fins, then flushing them using the same Simple Green cleaner that I used on the evaporator unit ( but not this year, since I ran out of the cleaner). I had to take the metal cover off the unit two or three years ago, after the exterior had gotten covered with so many feathers that vacuuming itself wouldn't free them from the surface thru the metal cover. Too many free-range chickens had nested under the deck, located next to the unit.

In my old age, I've grown lazier and complacent, letting necessary home and auto maintenance go, simply because it hurts to move much, and just an "it'll be OK" mindset, I have recently acquired. I'm no longer the proactive mechanic I was, before I began my physical decline.

Guys I'm so sorry to hear how your aches and pains are affecting your quality of life. It must be frustrating to feel mentally like your in your 20's but the body is letting you down.

My father recently just passed at 88 and I know how frustrated he was when it got more and more difficult to do simple tasks that he used to be able to do easily.

Stay strong fellas,

Glad you are still enjoying life

The White Witch got a bath and interior cleaning, then I did Rubbing Compound another wash and then wax and buff. I cleaned the black trim, but I need to really redo it (some other F'n time) it was 105 in the shade and I had the outdoor A/C going about 60 gallons worth of water in it although it was still hotter than a Billy goats ass in a pepper patch.

Original.
The aircraft paint was getting old and by the time they got more in... it was to use after a certain numbnuts had a "hard" landing and drove the gear into the wingbox. Which left just enough for an e39 from Hotwheels.

So yesterday I removed the back panels from my comfort seats in an effort to eliminate any interior rattles. All the retaining clips were reenforced etc so nw they are rattle free.
I'm doing this as I just had a Mercedes Slk from 1998 to flip and it was solid and quiet with no rattles at all.
My 01 E53 however, bangs and crashes over rough roads and its more obvious now. Some of it is down to the 20" wheels with 40psi in the tyres which I may deflate a bit to soften the ride a bit.
