looks pretty good for generic stuff, I got a few samples of 1080 and its good quality stuff. I'd def wrap my trim if the center console piece didn't intimidate the hell out of me lol!

That gloss black looks pretty good. My only beef with using solid colors on the interiors is that they usually don't end up with dripping wet gloss like paint and that subtle orange peel. I prefer using a vinyl with texture or flake on the interior so you don't run into that problem. Nice job though, best part is you can always peel it when you are looking to change it up.

When we returned last night though, the clutch was fine, and the battery was too low to turn over the engine; nothing a battery charger couldn't fix. I'm guessing that the clutch was maybe caused by some icy buildup around the slave cylinder that thawed out in the interim. Just thankful that my wife has a working vehicle!
Well, what do I know? Turned out the battery was shot. After charging all night, it started up fine, and my wife drove off with it this morning. She called for help a couple hours later; wouldn't start. After some testing, I determined the battery was dead, so tracked down a new one from Batteries Plus for ~$150. Shouldn't have to worry about that for a few years.

I had heard of some issues people have had when changing batteries, so was a little nervous about all that. I ended up just hooking up the battery charger to the posts under the hood to maintain power on the system while I swapped out the battery in the back. Smooth as butter.

Radiator, pump, hoses, tensioners, pulley's, belts, intake boot, hoses, oil change, rear suspension air bags, rear hatch lock... Radiator much easier than the beetle but I have to thank VW and Porsche for my wrenching abilities. Best tool in the box is the torque wrench.
