i need a new windshield, mine is pitted and developed a crack on the passenger side. I'd be interested in getting the climate windshield. so you ordered it directly from BMW and had a shop install it? how much do they cost?

pics below:
be careful using the scissor jack they are pretty flimsy. also remember to torque down the bolts on the spacer as well as the lugs for the wheels. 103 +/- 7 ft/lb

i went with 25mm in the front, turned out pretty good. i think it would look a little better if you went a little low

Ya i hate using that jack but I usually lay the wheel flat under the car by the jack just to make sure ..
Would you have rather go with 20mm up front?

No torque wrench...unfortunately
In 60miles I'll check with one
Do you have to check only the lugs holding the wheel or the spacer?im confused reading the instructions
Or both?

....and after 100 miles remove the wheels & re-torque spacers.

20mm require longer bolts...

^ yea i would go with the 25mm in the front. they do not require the longer bolts and bolt directly to the hub like your 30mm did.
