The summer tires the X came were shot. PO had left suspension to die. I picked up a used set off kijiji for $320 a while back. Before I put new tires on, I want to make sure all is good with suspension and alignment. At the tire shop this morning and discovered that non-RFTs were coming off and the used ones were the RFTs. They are the Bridgestone Duellers. On the plus side, they have a meatier sidewall, so they look the part. On the negative side, this is my wife's daily driver and there is no TPMS on this X. Guess I'll be checking pressures a lot. I do recall seeing valve caps that colour based on tire pressure so you can visually see if pressure has dropped. I just can't bring myself to do that to the X though.

New winter rubber goes on the winter rims this season and new summer rubber will go on next year. Non-RFT though.

I have the M&S all season version of those tires on my 'winter' wheels. When I replace the Michi's on the 19's, I'm going to go with the Dueler HP Sports again, just not the A/S ones. Great tires and Costco carries them so I get lifetime free balancing and tire rotation.

Awesome, I think you'll enjoy them. They run a little wide in thier size too which is another plus.

This evening I replaced the brake booster vacuum pump seals with the kit from BMP design. I tried sealing the cover with some permatex a couple weeks ago. It didn't work. Hopefully I've got it now! It seems good!

I also replaced all the T20 torx bolts since one was stripped to hell and I had to drill the head off....

I used some allen-head M6 10.9 bolts/screws from my local Ace hardware store.

Looks great Brian.

Details make all the difference on an install like this. It looks like they came OE.
