Riggodeaux, I hear you...
You ought to be nearly 68 humping this stuff: the upper body strength isn't quite like it was.

Clean as a whistle under there, and really an easy DIY, even working here in the fookin jungle. Pumped up the 17" Style 57 spare to ~40#s while I had it out.

Home to our Mtn Home by Sunday eve. I can hardly wait. Don't care how cold and crummy it may be there in far western NC next week. FLA 'Winter Season' here, is over for us.

Thank you for the props...
GL, mD

I hear ya, mD. I'm close enough in age, and a history that includes falling off horses and SI joint problems makes me particularly prone to lower back issues. I'm also with you on WNC in the summer - I've been up that way on and off in the summers since the 1960s, mostly in Graham County, hiking in the Nantahala NF and out on Lake Santeetlah. Have a good trip!

R, If you roll up to western NC this summer/fall, DM me or bang on our door...
We are in Waynesville/Haywood County, on a ridge on Eagles Nest Mtn, above Laurel Ridge CC.

Glad to hook up, lunchola, blasting the BRPkway, etc.

Thanks for the invite. Our planned mtn trip so far is to friends' place at Wolf Laurel for the July 4th weekend, right off the AT near where I-26 crosses into TN, north of Asheville. Beautiful area, as is yours. Have a great summer!

Took a quick look through the air intake system tonight cos the engine has been choking a bit at the lights last few weeks; there was only a damn great hole in the air filter... brittle as all-get-out as well, no idea when it was last replaced. Off to the parts shop Saturday since everything closes on Fridays around here.

Not happy about the constant 'CDC ERROR' - gonna search the forum about it & start a thread if no joy

Received some great news from Blackstone on the condition of my N62! Maybe it was b/c I complimented them on their service?!

Liquimoly 5w-40, an LL-01 oil is my oil of choice. The N62 runs smoother with it than the Castrol 5w-30 I used to run (factory oil).

M3Post has a bunch of info and a link to some new clevite bearings spec'd for our S65s. What year (I'm betting 2008 to early 2010, before the bearing switch...).

I was stunned at my Blackstone report. The wear material numbers are super low. So very happy!
