I was only able to test them out saturday and sunday and dropped it off to the body shop on monday but judging by first impressions they are GREAT, very aggressive and solid on turns and extremely quiet, no serious snow in utah right now so I can't speak to that. I'll post back with longevity reviews, tires came with a 60,000 mile warranty I paid 800$ for the set out-the-door

Got a chance to drive the X on about an inch of ice (took about 15 minutes just to scrape the ice off the car) at local and highway speeds.. The YK580's performed phenomenally I am in love and w/ a 60k warranty I have no worries about shredding them. I got mine from discount tire and they have always been good to me with warranties (replaced bubbled ventus tires for new pirellis on my e46 even though it was my fault they bubbled)

Just got my car back from the body shop yesterday, New bumper and repainted back end, unfortunately the body shop didn't realize I had aftermarket tail lights (neither did I) so I'm waiting for the light on the tail gate to be delivered to be 100% completed. I was thinking about new headlights because mine were hazey but the body shop gave a free polishing and now they look GREAT.

awesome, i am def going to consider them now!

and about the headlights, mine were a bit yellowed and hazy, i took out my PC polisher with an orange pad and some 3M scratch remover, literally 3 applications on each headlight (took me 10 mins max) and then put a white pad on with some PlastX polish, and they look brand spankin new!! saved myself money on headlight lenses or new lights, and i really didnt want to sand my headlights!

now if i could only polish my glass fogs as good haha!

Finally got a chance to stretch the legs on her a bit.

Impressed with the highway handling (of course).

Was very impressed with the civilized behaviour of the cruise control. No violent bursts of acceleration to maintain/reclaim speed, just a steady push to get back to speed again. That alone makes it hard to go back to a cheap car again.

She's going in for some foam on the drivers seat and a proper alignment at a specialist.

I just finished doing the 60k or inspection II, did everything myself but the oil change! What a pleasure to work on the E53. Replaced the Spark plugs ($36), belts($31), fan clutch($105), tensioner, water pump($45), fuel filter($41), did a coolant flush($35), Oil change with LL1 synthetic ($61). Dealer asking price $900 just the inspection.
