There was basically nothing there on mine, perhaps it broke/wore off, or the stock one is paper thin. By adding 3/4" (hot glue, epoxy, rubber plug, etc) my pedal travel seems to have been cut IN HALF... its crazy. Starts fine, shifts fine, I bring the pedal up so much less now, engagement is super fast.

Try it, most people start build up to their sweet spot.

No virtual machine nonsense, right? Any screen shots you can post?

My goal has been to read this entire thread, but I'll never get through it. So, I'll start now and call it a draw.

While the car was under the watchful care of a friend, the following was done a few weeks ago:

Valve cover gasket set
Valve cover seal washers
Intake manifold cover
Intake manifold casket/gasket (sic)
Serpentine belts
Master cylinder
Brake booster
Low control arms

It's at less than 65K miles or so, any ideas what else I should be looking for at this point or in the near future?

Repaired driver's front window regulator today. Used the $12 replacement kits available on ebay that came with the sliders and the new window clips. Both of my clips had broken and one of the sliders. I left the one OEM slider still in good shape but added the zip tie fix to both the new aftermarket and old OEM slider to prevent this nonsense in the future.

Felt pretty darn good doing it this way rather than $200 for a new regulator.

Yeah, lol, stay tuned - I got it installed, but have been pulling my hair out all night trying to get my Romanian cable to work... it looks identical to the one they sell. I "acquired" the software.

It fires up, but wont see the cable or truck.

I have some questions regarding the configuration of OBD.ini and EDIBAS.ini, and port configuration.

My Romanian INPA kit had me config to COM1, and everything ive been reading is COM9 for this stuff.

I'll probably bite the bullet and get the superkit from Rheingold, but i'd at least like to play with it first!

This weeks activities:

Replaced engine thermostat; Wahler
Installed LED interior light kit; eBay seller teknikal2
Retrofit autodim/compass mirror; $74 from LKQ via eBay
Fit new rear license plate surround and trim caps
Installed new rear roundel

I received my rear floor lamps to retrofit under the rear seat; plan to install those tomorrow. Thanks to whoever wrote the rear seat heating retrofit and provided the photos of the floor lamp install.
