Plate covers always make the car look cheap. Pointless.

Especially dealer plate covers. I have the dealer remove them before driving a car off the lot unless they are willing to pay an advertising penalty. They always remove them, only gotten one gripe from a dealer really.

I never use them and just put it on last week. I supposed I'll just remove it again.

In Texas, you can get a ticket for that installation because the state name is covered by your bracket at the top of the plate......I know this for a fact

I pulled off the dealer sticker from any of my cars where it was double stick taped on. Also I have a plate frame from dealer on my car right now but it's such a crappy design it blocked the hatch from closing properly.

I flipped it upside down and it functions properly while giving an appropriate dis to the moron that ever approved putting that piece or crap on an X5

Yeah any dealer frame, badge, or sticker needs to come off. It's free advertising for them and no dealer deserves that lol

I 'spose you could add an aftermarket thermostatically controlled unit, if you are seeing overheating etc.
I had the electric fan delete on the E46 and it was so nice and quiet. Wanted to do the same for eht e53. I can tell these 3.0 x5's do cool these engines well.
