I noticed that almost all of the pixels on my dash are magically working now.

Well my shipment from Autohaus came today. Put a little smile on my face to work on the car and forget about my surroundings. Replaced the air and cabin filter today. That took all of 10 minutes to install and then the joy was over.

Changed the oil with castrol 0-30. Not sure what was in there before bit it was pretty gross. Not burnt but kinda reddish. Hmm. Drained the cooling system and refilled. Sucked out the old ps fluid and refilled with fresh. Seems to be leaking, but I think it's missing an o-ring will tackle spring. Changed the coolant temp sensor oring as it was leaking there too. Sucked out the brake fluid. Also pretty gnarly. Will need new pads in the spring so will do a full fill.

Spent the evening getting my gt1/ncs/inpa/winkfp computer up and running again. Going to try some coding/updates tomorrow. Hopefully this will flash the throttle sensitivity update

It was a good weekend for my X5. Changed the sway bar links, the reason for the stupid clunking sound. Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352039230.457219.jpg

Also changed the tie rod assemblies and put a set of fresh rubber on the front. Now I just need to get an alignment. I'll probably go to the dealer, every shop I've taken her to has never been able to align her properly.

I also changed the lcd screen on a 16:9 board monitor to upgrade my 4:3 screen.

Luckily I sourced an mk4 nav unit to replace my mk2. I'll probably wait to get the brackets to install the head unit, then I'll just post the 4:3 and mk2 nav unit up for sale.

Still got plenty to do on my to do list, but at least we are making some progress.

Door Handle Carrier... My Turn... FML

Well I guess it was only a matter of time till my shit failed also. At least I have hundreds of DIY's here to fix this shit. Door still opens, looks like it got lose from rear of Carrier. Will try snapping back in and twist locking to see if I can save myself the full carrier purchase.

Damn I came here to post the same exact thing. I haven't been able to have a full tank of fuel since the first week of august. $20 here $30 there. Times get rough when myself and the wife are unemployed. But hey without having lows, youd never respect how good the highs are.

Put on the smoked LED side markers and Sprintbooster, all from bimmian. Put the also new oil filter on the shelf for next spring's oil change.

Really happy with the SB, but have to figure out how to hide the control box more OEM style.
