Checked the tire pressure, and gave the engine bay a once over. Stared hard at the DISA, silently cursing Autopartsway for delivering to the wrong address since I'd meant to replace it by now.

Worked some more on the leather, and wondering if the Dakota leather was ever soft and subtle in the first place. It's never taken me this long to restore leather in a car before. :P

Meguiar's leather conditioner and cleaner. It seems to clean well, but hasn't done much for conditioning. The leather seems kind of hard. I'm open to suggestions

Welllllllllllllllllllllllllll. first of meguars that you can get from the generic auto stores sucks..

Try the griots conditioner, i think advamce auto has a small stand of griots stuff.

Ive heard mixed things about lexol.

Currently using Autofinesse Hide as conditioner. i havent had much experiemce with it yet. But my leather never had that "soft feeling" it just seemed normal. my drivers seat is not normal though, its lost alot of its texture.

however i liked griots

I'm looking forward to years of service out of my X, and hopefully will get that by keeping up with preventatives. I kinda have this feeling that if I ever move on to another vehicle, I'd kinda like to keep my 4.6 as a pet in the garage..! I LOVE my truck...
