Going to FL this weekend to look at an estate sale, 1 owner, '03 540 M-Tech 6spd MT with under 20k miles (climate controlled garage queen, ALL OE, even tires and wheelweights), family friend, I have 1st chance to purchase. Same silver/black as the X, should make the X pics look even better.
Go get it, TiAgX5
X looks great too.

The flight is booked and I'm out of DFW on Fri AM. I know the car well and even drove it when it was around 6 mos old.

Yeah, already looking into getting a set of staggered wheels visually identical to the set on the X. I'm a sucker for polished aluminium lip, narrow spoke, lightweight wheels on BMWs.

Any clearcoat was well gone so I just used Autosol metal polish, some very fine wire wool and a kitchen scourer. Once done I washed them down and sprayed with WD40. Very happy with the results and I'll make sure to keep on top of them now.

That's the best kind of DIYing, not much cost/effort with stellar results! Well done.

well...not all 'today' but in the past couple of weeks! witness the carnage. or simply witness a portion of the preventive maintenance (other than the compressor) which will hopefully get this 3.0 another 40-60k miles.

After getting the roof rail holes filled in and roof re-sprayed, I shipped it off this morning for a comfort climate glass windscreen.

IMO, the only real way to rid those pesky holes left over from the roof rail delete.....
