@ XNSF..May I ask..How much did you pay?
I tried to order one from Jeff Bechtel over at J&T Distributing/Dynavin Solutions, but it's on back order...he says by the end of the month he should have them in stock

xyber233: I love it so far. It can stand to use some fine tuning, but I am happy with the results. I think it's worth the upgrade, even if it's just for the media capabilities.

bosanci28: How are you liking so far?

Aceman1120: I paid $699 + CA tax shipped

azn1028: Yep, that's where I bought it.

Hi guys! I'm seriously contemplating on changing to the Dynavin. I'm currently on a Hualingan unit and I'm sorry to say that it's slowly deteriorating. To be honest i still like the looks of the Hualingan unit versus the Dynavin but it's just beginning to be a real PITA! :-( It has been consistently mal functioning after a year (sound and functionwise).

Hope you don't mind a few questions on the Dynavin to help me decide:

1. This is what I'm planning to get on ebay. Is this the Dynavin we are discussing on this thread? Just want to make sure it's the same unit.

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

2. I'm a serious music addict so my main concern lies on the iPod interface. Can you see the actual stuff / details shown on your iPod screen on the Dynavin screen e.g. playlists, artsists, album, songs, etc? In English and NOT in CHINESE CHARACTERS right?

3. Does the iPod charge its batteries while connected to the Dynavin?

4. Lastly, can I still install the Dynavin on my dash considering my dash has been butchered like this?

maybe there's a work around or someone has already switched Hualingan to Dynavin who can share how they modified their butchered dash to acommodate the Dynavin?

5. can you run Garmin Navigation software on it through the micro sd card? Or, are you stuck with the internal Navigation software that comes with it?

Would appreciate some feedback or ideas before I make a purchase.

Nice job but I have never seen anybody really showing how an iPod/iPhone integration works. Are you able to fully control your iPhone/iPod via the steering wheel controls? Do you see titles/albums information? is the iPod/iPhone charged the while providing music?

Please be the first to show us how that works.

Thank you!

Hi Fullmetal, i just installed my unit 2 days ago. I haven't used the iPod connection yet cause I wanted to run my iPod cable up by the drivers side pillar and the cable doesn't reach so I ordered an iPod extender cable. From what I understand you can run many different types of navigation software...I have the WinCe V6 I will give a better update and a small review once I start really using it.....Later
