A 4.6is, the picture is from couple of weeks ago. 430000 km ~ 267000 miles. Factory new engine at 384000 km ~ 239000 miles. The car has also got a new transfer case after the new engine and pretty much full transmission rebuild this year.

267000 miles, or 28000 miles (after receiving a "factory new engine")?

The suspension, cooling, and peripheral parts (SAP, windshield, O2 sensors & exhaust, hubs & wheel bearings) though, have been renewed at some time over the last 20 years. Oh, and the Vanos and chains & guides are renewed, only a few months ago. However, looks like the DISA and CCV have been neglected!

I formerly drove 25k miles a year commuting to work (in my daily driver: '09 HHR Panel), and up to 38k miles a year when also dragracing (DD + my '04 2500HD tow vehicle). Most of my miles now come going to the in-laws ranch, 45 miles away, on holidays & birthdays (there are 4 generations on the compound), and about 500-1000 a year towing my home-built camper.
