in the newer cars the line actually reads FL_BIXENON... in mine, it did not - i just stumbled across that line by accident, and we changed the value from 02 to 01 in hopes that it would work...

do a search in your file for anything that has FL in it - the FL is the highbeams... it could be that the line in yours is coded with different verbiage...

Hey guys, doing some coding in the next week. Did anybody ever find a line for the one touch triple blink signal indicator? In other words, Audi has that feature when you press down or up on the signal stalk and release it, it blinks three times and stops. Love to have that.

The only ones I dont recognize are the PWM ones, but those are for each light (every light has its own line)

anyone know what that last one is? Enable US SBR?

PWM - Pulse Width Modulation, way of controlling the intensity of the lights
ANSTEUERUNG - controlling... what it means, i have no idea,

your file does not have highbeams and the xenons... i wonder if that line is hidden under other names - is there anything in your file with BIX?

also, I wonder, what happens when the values in the FL PWM changed from 01 to 02...

Are you willing to look further in your file? getting a new LCM could be costly and also requires programming of the mileage into the new module, to avoid the tamper dot... might not be worth it...

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
dudes I'll be getting coded this weekend by a local (thanks for the invite to Brooklyn slick but we'll have to do it another time, I'm about an hour from Brooklyn and with my weekends i'm using my time as efficient as possible!) and I found most of the options I'd like to get done in this thread:

1) fog lights stay on with high beams
2) cold monitoring for tail lights, license plate lights, and reverse lights off
3) key in ignition gong off when door is open
4) euro double blink hazards

I'd also like to be able to press one button on my key fob and unlock all doors, does anyone know the line/module for this?

Other than that I'm set as the other options I'll most likely pass on. Are there any not-lighting related things I could get programmed?

I know you can do windows roll up/down with remote, I'll pass on that. Can we override the windows so that even if the door is open the auto-up/down function works (doesnt right now)

Also I know Terminator had his computer shitted up by the kids, but we were also going to look into whether there was a line for windshield wipers if we could make them work like VW, when the car is off you press the stalk down once and it pops the wipers up vertical, a "service position" instead of pressing the stalk down with the key in the on position and shutting it off when the wipers get to top.

OK Slick if you could update this thread that would be great:

On the list of items that you originally posted, the Cold Monitoring for tail lights was posted to avoid the startup flicker. I had that coded nicht_aktiv, but still had startup flicker. When we looked further into the file and translated it all, we also found another line which I am trying to remember how it was spelled, but it translated to "cold monitoring left rear standing light" and "cold monitoring right rear standing light", which we also had to set to nicht_aktiv and now I am happy to report my startup flicker of my LED tail lights is GONE!

Also, I did have my buddy code that LED_REUCHLICHT option to aktiv, although I still have my capacitors plugged into my taillights it has no negative affects.

I can unplug a capacitor temporarily later on with my parking lights on and see if the adaptive brake light flickering still happens if you guys want, that way you can update the option as "tested"

I will update soon. I also have a much better list at home since I have coded quite a few e53s already.

Just wondering how your updated list is coming along? As I'm about to try some coding and are considering the various options...

Did you try disconnecting a capacitor to see if the adaptive brake light flickering still happens?
