Glad that I kept the set before selling the old SAV. The taillights on the iS haven't given me any trouble yet.

Is any one making the LED taillights with the wiring harness with the Capacitors already wired into the harness so you don't have to add the Cap for the Adaptive Tail lights and stop the flickering from happening

Thank you
jim

I think the best option here is to buy one a bmw scanner 1.4.0 off ebay, download the full software somewhere (not sure where?) and turn off the light monitoring systems which should stop the flicker. The scanner itself (Chinese version) is only about $20 off ebay.

Jim what year is your X? If you have 03-06, you need the capacitors for the adaptive brake lights, they are not wired in.

Send an email to Cesar @ Lightwerkz

[email protected] he'll send you out a set.

Not hard to solder in the resistor. I think Tom (mrbmwx5) has the part# in one of the old thread.

I don't think there is any need to solder with Lightwerkz, they have nice connectors which don't require any stripping/splicing of wires.

Hello Ricky Bobby

I have a 04 X. Understand about getting the Capacitors just wondered if anyone was selling the LED lights with the Cap already wired into the Harness with the LRD light kit. of the 03 to 06 X5s
will I get any light errors with the Cap and the LEDs?
Thank you will have to do the Cap wiring deal
Jim
