Did you do this yourself or someone in NYC? If someone else, who? where? Price?

So help a guy who is not familiar with this - and these are sincere questions - not leading or sarcasm. I've just never seen this -

1. The intent is the matte finish, correct?

2. Is this considered a long term thing (say - 8 mos or more)?

3. If so, does this tolerate summer sun and associated UV effects?

4. Wouldn't you have had to scuff the underlying paint for this application to adhere well enough for regular use?

Got any pics of the white. I'm looking to change mine from black to white.

when changing in different color [using none permanent paint - plasti or vinyl ] do you have to report that "repaint" every time to the DMV ?

I did see 5 series painted white on one side and black on the other [with the line in the middle of the top/ trunk/ hood] wonder if that was vinyl ......... [maybe it was driven by Cruela lol ]

That's a very good point/question? Anyone who has done this care to chime in?

I posted this in the other thread, and the picture is computer generated, but...

can something like this be done? something like satin stripe, where you have matte plasti-dip and the original paint coexsist...

Yes. On www.dipyourcar.com (as posted above), look at the "monthly competition" winners threads posted in the forum.
