Is that the same harness that you built ? Are there instructions to build the harness? I consider myself pretty handy and would like to try to do it myself. Thanks for you help !!!

The harness f your application will be similar to the harness that was built here (http://www.xoutpost.com/961741-post33.html) but the end with the factory pins and terminal will be different. instead of the male pins used in the link above, you will need to use female pins, and if your factory radio is missing the black 12-pin plug inside the big square plug on the radio, then you will need to get that black plug too... chances are that your radio has the black plug in there already and all you will need, just the three female pins... Those female pins are Digi-Key part # A28327-ND, and the factory part is 61130006663 with 1 foot brown wire already pre-crimped...
read the info in the link, and let me know if you think you can do it, and if you need further guidance - i do not wish to patronize you if you are fully capable nor do i wish to leave you hanging if you have any questions... |

Ok Im stuck
I build my Aux cable as per the pdf. I could not find a 300k resistor so I connected three 100K resistor in series. I've tried every pin combination and still no AUX.
Reading through the pdf it makes no mention to the SA661-A (Cassette) radio only the SA661 (cd) radio. Could it be possible this will not work with the cassette radio ? I have DSP by the way Would it matter ? Thanks

what should matter, the AUX pins on the radio... were AUX pins on cassette radio open? on mine, with pre wired connector behind the screen, the pinout was incorrect on PDF, i had to switch my pins... try switching yours - there are only 3 wires

With the AUX input already installed and working for years, today I violated my principals
went to Walmart( I hate Walmart) I bought an iLive Bluetooth adapter $25.00. Took it home charged it up, paired it with my iPhone, plugged it in, and WALA we've got bluetooth streaming and it sounds good.

Which pins are the AUX pins ?
There are 3 wires (blue ,red, & brown, I'm assuming left , right & ground) in the white plug with the black 12 pin connector. They correspond to pins 2,3 & 8 respectively. My radio plays, cd changer and cassette player work fine without this connector plugged in. Thanks

i see a 12-pin plug with white shroud... was there a 12-pin plug with black shroud? i suspect that your AUX inputs are not in that white plug (black plug, white shroud), but in the other one...
