I am not convinced that the JBE or the FRM have anything to do with the lights staying on. Every other electrical circuit in the vehicle operates as it should, so assuming the FRM or JBE are to blame is presumptuous. Besides, I don't yet have ISTA available to confirm this.

The salvage yard that I got the DME from is on my way home from work, and I don't even require a tool to remove the switch/module assembly. If it doesn't work, I return it and get "yard" credit.

Are the FRM and JBE modules VIN locked?
