This is for a paddle shift retrofit I am also contemplating. For the heated steering I don't think you need to change the SZL module. Will keep you posted. |

So do you feel that the SZL module needs to be replaced for a heated wheel, or can you get away with just doing the clockspring? My concern was a non-heated SZL would not have the wiring present to power the new clockspring. Chris |

Chris stop worrying about the szl module , the power for the steering goes around it - you will see. You do not even have to unplug it and deal with the re-calibration issues, just start looking for connector 61136954518 now - there may be a lead time.

You will get that this weekend once I get some time. Anyways if you have the heated steering start looking for 61136954518. It may have a lead time. The other parts needed are usually in stock.

If you do not have lane departure warning then yes you will need it. Just get it. It's only six bucks.
