I placed mine 2/22 with # 7557 and am told it won't go into production until week 16.

Mine is 7556xxx. I ordered in February.

I finalized my order March 8 (had started Feb 9 when the ordering guide came out, but they couldn't place order because of side camera issues - I gave up on them when delay went from May to Oct production). My production # is 7555xxx. I also had week 17 production run, but my CA worked hard to get it put into an earlier slot (for a different X5) that she had open. She got it to April 15 and then BMW put it into production a few days early so it should be out of production by April 9. Talk to your CA.

I officially placed my order March 30 - my SA passed on that my car will be ready for delivery sometime in the last week of Juneor the first week of July. I don't have a production number, if and when I get one I will make sure to pass on the update.

you guys who are saying early april delivery might want to double check with your CA's.

i just got off the phone with the person who schedules the performance deliveries at the factory who said that the EPA and CARB approvals still have not come in for the ALL 2011 x5 and x6 (but are expected this week or next week).

if it takes about 20 days to turn around the vehicle (is that accurate or can they turn these around faster?), then i dont see how early april is a reality for anyone.

regardless, please post here when you guys start to actually have solid dates so we can all keep each other in the loop. thanks everyone.

Mine is April 9 projected completion - not delivery. Prob 2 extra weeks+ to the west coast...

My dealer and the BMW NA call line both tell me production has started with a completion data of April 9.

They told me they allocated a factory production slot during the month of June, 2010 and should be expecting delivery around July but sure how that is possible since it's coming from Germany.
