If you peer into the back of the headlight assembly with the hood open you can see a large black access cap that twists off.

LUX H8 all the way for me. Nothing compares. Had to return my first set back for warranty due to some internal short in one of the power supply. It keep blowing the inline fuse. Sent it back to NAM and they gave me a whole new set within a week. Now thats customer service!

Read enough posts of lighting mods and you will find posts of electrical fires and wiring harness melt downs, even when fused. From these posts you will see that the burden of proof rest with the customer where modifications are made.

I am just sharing what I have read. Take from it what you will. Has this stopped me modding, no. I'm just aware of the risks.

I have read all kinds of posts related to lighting mods and there isn't this abundance of fires and melt downs you speak of. You act and speak like it's all inevitable and we're all blind to what's happening. Wrong assumption.

The lights look fantastic !
Gosh, it took me more than 10mins. 10 mins to do everything up until the point where I had to screw the caps back on, but then it became a nightmare! Since the fuses have to remain outside the light housing, and its really tight quarters to snake your hand in there, I had a hard time getting the caps back on. Perhaps much more doable for, well, you Guys...

Chill out dude! I was merely responding to another members question around possible warranty issues. Do you think I really care what you do to your car? What are you some Lux crusader?

Why do you think there was a recall on the Lux? Resistors produce heat, lots of it. Get your facts straight.

As for this thread, I've had about enough so bark all you want.

Did you modify the headlight caps to allow the wires to easily pass through? Or the wires just being pinched?

I know the facts. Did you know if was only one set that caused that?? Not the many you make it out to be.
