Mine are just pinched, would have been really easy to do if the rubber/foam surround extended further and would conform around the wires. Instead it's just a hard plastic edge.

Well...right now I'm just pinchin' the wires. I did that because I saw someone had a fit about the suggestion that the cap be modified. I debated on whether it would be worse to pinch the wires or get water in the housing. I have no idea what the chance of that would be though.

What did you do?

I am considering the Lux H8's. How did you guys secure the powersupply and fuse externally? The install doc didn't really go into it too much. All it said was it had to be external.

Multiple car washes and everything is still tip-top.

The Lux seems to be a viable option for the E70 angel eyes. After couple weeks of some research I think i've narrowed it down between the Lux V2 and some HID angel eyes sold by a popular vendor over at the 5series.net forum.

Mds, creator of lux is about to release v3 of lux. You can cram everything in the headlight and nothing is left outside. Color is 6500k, so super whites. Check it on e90post if interested. Waiting for them myself, was about to pull trigger on hids but may hold off for the lux..depending on how much he jacks up the price. Hopefully not much if any.. :/
