Check the latest 6-series Gran Coupe. LED strips are slowly creeping in BMWs.

Acura's MDX which runs its generation changes in parallel to X5 is testing their 3rd gen MDX and using current X5 as at least as one of benchmarks, as can be seen from these MDX spy shots.

Great observation! Those fat tires on the X5 look amazing. I saw a Grand Cherokee SRT that had tires like that, looked cheap and awful. No one can fit tires like that and look so damn good on a vehicle like the Germans can.
