I used the exact same CD to upgrade the wife's 05 X3 and at the end I got a message that there was an error. It ejected the disc and asked to confirm with OK. I put in a v26 disc that upgrade worked fine. However, now the car is in metric mode. How do I switch it back?
I believe the dealer needs to recode the nav drive in order to get it back to US mode

But it is not just the nav. It is the odometer, clock, etc...

I switched the units of measurement back to USA. While it is still in euro mode (yards instead of feet), I really don't care about that.

I then inserted a fresh v27 CD and it updated perfectly.

OK, I'll give that a try. Do you think it will boot from V21.1, because it's not booting V24 or V26 ...
