Some text is stored in the MID EPROM, some in the LCM, some in the Telephone, some in other units

You cannot change the other text.

You have to choose what mixture of languages you want: eg:

Swedish + GB, US, DE, FR, SP, or IT. Those 6 languages are what the car supports.

What............I was on my way home and was going to make a call. Using the VR system it went crazy...talking in French? I thought the BT module with the built in VR function only was for 1 single language, obviosly not.
Only after chaning back to English AND turning of and on the car the VR went back to english again...........strange!?

hi,

I have one question about e65/66 , in which folder in Software v31 I can find file "navboot" for BMW e65/e66 to change for example: SPLASH SCREEN, LANGUAGE etc. Is this same folder ...V2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\app_sw\ as for mk4?

e65/e66
NAVI01
NAVI02
NAVI03

Does anybody upgrade to new v31 changing language in e65/66 ?

Please help me!!! My MK4 doesn't read those CDs which i changed with NavTweak. Could there be a problem with my CD-Writer???? I wrote the cds on the slowest speed and tried different types of discs but there is always the same problem.

I had the same problem..... after serveral attempts I found my laptop cd/dvd writer was to old to read some of the files, hence having to buy a new drive ( pc world - £40 ) done the job.

This could be the problem, but before you spend the money.... check it with other members, it could be something else.

good luck.
