Thanks for the tip. I was missing the last step also. I'm a new member and saw some mention of the 2007 DVD being posted or hosted. I did a search but didn't find a location Any help for this USA meber wiould be appreciated. I have a X3 early 2004 (no bluetooth) with NAv. I think its a "blue" disc car. I managed to use rewritable CD for loading mods to the firmware so have a go. I used UltraISO to make the CD.

I borrowed this picture. I emailed sonic393, he got it from BMW's website when you could still build e46 330ci's. Does anyone know of a website where I could find something similar for my e46 330i ZHP?

I havnt had a chance to play with this program yet, but thanks, again, to the creator, I cannot wait to start tweaking...

Thanks!

Ok yall, I tried this last night with no luck...

I downloaded and isntalled all three programs with no problems. Re-booted the machine and tried to figure it out. I unzipped both navtweak and navspeak, started navtweak with no problems (later opened navspeak with no problems either). Now comes the complication. I figured I probably had to open the v29.MDS file (I hope thats right, the one that is big not 1kb), when I do so the machine locks up. I'll re-read this 25 page thread, but thought I'd ask just incase its not answered in the thread...

Thanks!

So Ima need a CD-RW for this task? I burned the latest version on a regular CD-R...

Thanks for the help, I found some instructions yesterday, but had yet to try them out...

Voice files for Mk4 stored in V_2/Voices/0506

You need to edit 'sw_rel.tbl' file with hex-editor to force software upgrade.
Change first 4 bytes (SW version) from '0800' to '0801'.
To force voice upgrade edit 'lng_rel.tbl' file. Set first 4 bytes to '0801' then next 4 bytes (voice version) to '0507'.
