You must use CloneCD to burn this KeyCD image.
The KeyCD cannot be read on a PC. Only some programs can burn the KeyCD image, CloneCD can. |

These are the last questions...I promise....
If I have a mode2 .iso burnt image, then I open it with MgicIso, extract from .iso some files, I modify the files with Navtweak, finally put my modified files, through MagicISO, in the iso file again...saving .iso file Magic tell me "calculate CRC..." then it save my modified .iso. Is this a correct procedure or trying to upgrading navi something can goes wrong? Once modified from mode1 to mode2 an iso file it always remain in mode 2? The files I modified, are always in mode2 or became mode1? These below are the 4 hex I must change in 0000 to get a "wild" sw? Thanks, thanks, thanks...

Then burn it, and verify afterwards that you did burn a Mode2/Form1 CD. I find Nero InfoTool tells me if it is a Mode2/Form1 CD. The image will stay as Mode2 - but always check after you burn the CD that the CD really is a Mode2 CD. Yes those 4 bytes are right. Mkae sure ou do both sw_rel.tbl and lng_rel.tbl |

I have no experience with the Rover Mk3. Insist on a BMW Mk3. Tghe Mk4 and Mk3 are plug-and-play exchangable. 2hrs for install sounds far too fast. The BMW retro-fit instructions state approx 8 hours and that is for a BMW workshop with tools and experience! Remember - a new cable loo has to be fitted from the radio at the front to the nav unit location at the back; you have to remove seats, lift carpet, remove boot lining etc. Takes time. Cheers, Jochen |
