I like to code the mk3 unit in Dutch, because i read that some people who use a modified OSdisc that forces the language in dutch, have some problems with the volume of that voice!
NavCoder can enable all languages suppled on the standard european OS disc - I cannot remember if NL is a standard language on the Mk3, but I think it is.

MK3 does not support NL as a standard as the Dutch files are not on the OS disks as for the MK4 they are.

Hello,

For information, i have sucessfully recode my X3 with Navcoder 2.2 (registred version) :
- Voice recognition : Active and French :-)
- Mono to Color MKVI : Done and tested :-)

Kiwi, you did a good job, keep working on this project, it's nice.

Thomas

Don't know, I don't have this in my car, so do not know how it is coded

I would need someone with the BMW GT1 software and with NavCoder to do some research for me

Hi Jochen,

I have re-installed the OS on my laptop (XP SP2) and since then, I am getting the errors as attached.

I have registered the ocx controls etc... also tried 3 i-bus interfaces and all give the same messages, I have also tried 3 different USB ports.

Interesting.

Can you monitor the ibus traffic when the car has the ignition turned on, and you simply watch the traffic?
Do the ibus messages appear OK?

If the problem persists, please send me the log file. I can simulate the problem when I have a log file, but note that I cannot fix it until I return to my development PC on 1 October.

Regards, Jochen (in Zurich)

Hi Jochen,

When monitoring the ibus traffic, the same errors appear, and all I can do is click ok to them, note when navcoder is closed the application makes a minidump.

I will try to make a log file, but I am not sure anything is being written to it, will check tomorrow.

Odia.
