I'm not KiwiJochen but I'll answer if you don't mind!

No you can't do it by just renaming files because language modules are within one file not like voice files....

But you can change modules by navtweak.....

NavCoder is not very complicated in connection or in use - just try it and you'll see!

he he ok Scuba you are allowed to talk to me
about the file i've found (and edited with navtweak)the voices files in V2/voices/506,
should you tell me the path for the text file ?

If you know what navtweak is then you now what is navboot Language modules are in navboot.... navboot is here V_2\RR\0101\BMWC01S\app_sw\

hei scuba I hate to be tedious and please tell me if you can't/don't wanna reply, but I



opened navboot with navtweak
replaced various thing as bitmap and icons
indivuated the language modules

now I don't know how to edit them
I tried with an hexeditor but the file CRC become invalid (?)

just found another thread..

the crc of the module had to be recalculated..
ok I had to pass through that, now...

i'm gona buy a resler and try to code my little BM

On my M5 2001 with MK3 was the firmware 3-1/40 sinse the car was made.
I did the upgrade with firmware from this topik and everything works just perfect - I have th 3-1/63 version now.
I can't find out the new features in this, because I don't have the map for Ukraine, but never mind 3-1/63 seems to be cooler than 3-1/40 )))))

Just installed v31 burnt on a mac using toast titanium 9 it loaded perfectly & in about to minutes it said upgrade complete please reinsert map disk & press OK
I did & it works fine & looks brighter...

2003 X5 4.6IS chipped & cat back exhaust
45K blue park - fog - high beam...
