ok. i have modified 2010 High DVD with fixed speedcameras. can i use pimp-my-nav to add other POIs (without sound alert) to this modified DVD and will they be both visible?

as i understand MK4 can´t sense wich direction the camera is pointed? it will alert all cameras driving one way or another?

Yes, this is what I do (but I don't use PMN), I have all fixed cameras as alert and all mobile as no alert, both can be on screen at the same time.

however, the selected POI will reset every time your turn off the car and restart it (it's part of the auto load function for poison).

Both ways and in any direction, you (the car) is in the centre of a large circle, cameras enter the circle and the alert sounds.

None, I do it by hand with textpad.

Yes, but it is a beta version and work only in DOS mode:

url2asc_high.exe from High

url2asc_prof.exe from Professional

Thanks Angelych.

aise : I'm also using wordpad MFC with asc2mk4_high.exe for adding POI to map. It's easy.
You can see example what to do: file NCCBEUFNM_EU_20090216.rar with plenty POI's but mostly for my country only on Chomik - logowanie
pass1: cX3 pass2: navi
this works also with 2010 map

...and for my knowledge, what is the advantage to have the .idx/.url back to .asc ??

Anyhow you can edit the .idx/.url with the wordpad or hex editor. I find the manual procedure pretty easy and simple once you get used to it. No interest in having thounsands of POIs in my DVD.

Angelych why don't you provide a windows interface instead the old DOS .exe file? It would make it easy for many of us...

I use an Excel spreadsheet with a macro that writes the POI data directly as idx and url files

You can write many more fields than just name and lat/long.
Eg phone numbers, sorting fields, etc etc etc

Very powerful.
And all in Excel, so extremely easy to use and to sort and edit....
