I’m new to the board and have read this and other associated V32 threads thoroughly and it is clear that some of the members here have made great efforts to improve the BMW nav system for board members.

I give advice on a number of other BBSs and understand how time absorbing it can be to answer all the queries that come up.

I have upgraded my MK3 Nav unit to MK4 and used Pimp-my-nav to add speed cameras to my DVD based map and have V4-100 with perspective view, the map also has 7 digit postcodes.

I have tried to download the V32 with night mode and audible POI alerts but have had little success with the URLs I have tried and I wondered if there is a definitive download for..

I’m keen to improve the Nav systems capabilities and the POI alerts would be very useful to have.

I agree it's not an easy subject.

There is a version that has the OEM 2nd colour scheme (brown, with nightmode) somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

Making a new colour scheme from scratch takes a long time with changes and testing, I just don't have the time for doing it.

This will give you problems if using Navtweak2.7, use 2.6

Open navtweak, then open navboot, the select romicons tab and scroll down

2d pointer icons start at romicons '86 and do to #109
3d pointer icons start at romicons '110 and do to #133

I do all this and its ok
In rom_col2 or ror_col3 in which line i must change the "blue" with "Brown"?
I checked it in rom_col2 and ror_col3 in Sw 32 OEM (which has in 1 position blue and in 2 position brown) with rom_col2 and ror_col3 in SW 32 Day/night but i didn't find what to change

I'll Pm you the UK only v32 Nightmode (thats pre modded, with all the mods), I'll zip the other stuff you want and let you have a link.

That's very kind, thanks..

Spent a few years reverse engineering BIOSs and various bits of OSs so I know how time absorbing these things can be.

Just wanted to post a thank you to John (Ccfj1) for the assistance and Alex (Nomad) for the NavTweak and POIson utitlities which have allowed me to add nightmode and speed camera warnings to my Mkiv SatNav.

How I do light brown (color like position 2 in oem) in both day and night menu in split mode?

I updated my nav with SW32 Day/night and the "Aux. heating/vent" dissapeared from the menu
I restored it with SW -32 oem but nothing. I can't user the "Aux. heating/vent" beacause it isn't in the menu

You would need to save the rom_col3 (oem) colour module, redo the crc and the replace the rom_col2. This will only work in split (day) mode.

This should not have been effected as the nightmode only changes the colour schemes not the coding of the unit.

Maybe it need to to "see" the "Aux. heating/vent" before it will display in the menu.
