Yes also remember visiting and riding metro with my cousin in Paris. (a small group of us - wives and family) and getting pushed and shoved onto the metro train; had been partying a bit....grabbed the rude guy that had shoved me and knocked his head a bit again the window of the train; just enough to make it hurt but not enough to break the window (also very discretly so as not to get much attention - whispering to the rude passenger) and basically told him to respect american tourists.....politely....remember though he literally ran out of the train right after that...

Although Parisians have improved their behaviour towards toursits in the last few years. Maybe I'm a little older and a little bigger these days, but you don't feel convinced they have spat in your food when you eat, which is a plus.

My last visit although busy was relaxing. Personally and mostly noticed folks were generally polite. Mostly though visited for business and only a few times for pleasure.

It was June a few years back I think; sitting in an outdoor cafe on the Champs-Elysees people watching with a few friends ...it was probably until midnight (?)....although remembered the next day walking and we all kind of spread apart and picked a time to meet at the Tour Eiffel; me I feel asleep (maybe it was the sun) on a Bateaux Mouches for a good part of the afternoon and a "few" back and forth trips on the Reine (got a bit sun burned that day) but still met the rest of the group on time....no one woke me up but rather just left me alone.

On a side note, I sent a message to an ebay seller with the BMW licence plate light camera and asked for a screenshot. They sent me a picture of one in a warehouse plugged in to a computer monitor or something. The picture isn't perfect but isn't bad either. Workable if you have something setup to plug it in to.

too much rambling and I apologize ..... but currently with a CarPC/Software/TVModule have the ability for a higher res weatherproof rear mounted camera.

Historically have tried a few but never been really happy with the resolution. Are there any mega pixel rear automotive cams out there?

I'm surprised these camera work at night. How is the ISO range? I guess the reversing lights help.

I've got night vision cameras where they have what looks like dimmable LED's around the circumference of the lens and it makes night vision perfect.

I want to get a camera to replace one of the lights on my X3, but all the camera's on ebay list 3,5,x5,x6. Does anyone know if the lights are the same size on an X3 as the x5 or any other?

I think the mounting/housing is slightly different. eBay doesn't have any marked for X3?
