I feel sorry for the people that live in Iraq, I can easily see why the hate us, In fact I would most likely hate us too, I don't know how to even begin to explain how much you are a product of your surroundings to you or will I waste my time, they are just living their lives day to day in the hell we have partially created (not to say whats his name wasn't a bad ruler)

oh great so you are looking at what aljazeera is saying? and rush limbaugh? and sean hannity? Eric are you seriously making those statements because some of the stuff i can take seriously but this just seems like a joke

So which part of what I posted do you not believe?

Are you saying that you do not believe that an Israeli attack on the beach in Gaza on June 9th killed 10 civilians?

Are you saying that you do not believe that after that attack Hamas announced they were abandoning the cease-fire and resuming attacks on Israel?

Are you saying that you do not believe that there was a cease-fire for 16 months prior to that where there was not a single attack by either side?

Are you saying that you do not believe that both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity said that the June 25th kidnapping was what broke the cease-fire without ever mentioning the June 9th attack?

Or are you just attacking the sources in general but acknowledging that the information is indeed true?

Please clarify

You tactic of attacking the messenger instead of the message is growing tiresome.

great and your bottomless pit of extremist information is growing tiresome as well. I am saying that a cease fire lasted for 16 months thats fine, however an attack on the beach whether an accident or intentional will be made intentional by them only to give them a reason, the kidnapping was uncalled for. Hamas needs no more reason that just to say hey they attacted us, a rock could have been thrown and the treaty would have gone to shit

But the facts still are that Israel did not throw a rock, but instead bombed Gaza and killed 10 civlians including women and children. However you want to look at it, they are the ones that broke the treaty.

I'm pretty sure if Israel had bombed Egypt and killed 10 Egyptian civilians that their treaty with Egypt would also fall apart.

I would be totally useless I have neither the degree nor backround to be of any useto those people, Its the same as it is in Africa with the AIDS epidemic, until people change their views its going to continue in the same cycle, I'm planning to go to Africa next summer and help administer AIDS care and teach safe sex but I will not be risking my life for a war I do not support, now Aids Prevention? I'm all for supporting that

you know WHY you are all for it? because theres something in it for you and because it can effect you more likely than anyone else here, you feel that going to iraq wont help you hence you are not going if you felt going to iraq would help you in any way then you would feel the same way you do about Africa
