DVDs with "zero cells"

I have a question: How does one rip DVDs with "zero cells" to an iPod without having to buy several different applications?

I've been trying to rip a couple of DVDs (which I own) to my Macbook and iPod for an upcoming trip, but I'm having a problem with several Sony DVDs which are reported to have "zero cells" as copy protection. I've tried using several different applications including, but not limited to: Handbrake/Mediafork, DVD2oneX2, Fairmount, etc., without luck. I've also searched several Mac forums, and tried several suggested methods, still with no success. I have yet to try Mac the Ripper, but it's been reported on several forums that people have had limited success using that application. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.

No clue, I just tried DVD Shrink on a Sony movie and no luck. When you find out, please share.

Here was your PM to me: "how do you save photos? for e.g., i wanted to save a couple of photos from the sunfest thread into my picture file and it's not as as easy right clicking."
