Finally:

the upgrade went smooth for the most part. Paralles had to be upgraded to 3.0 because it decided to sputter a bit but i kinda knew that. So i dug out the disc i bought last June and did the upgrade. Parallels for both the admin and other users went well wih a few minor glitches. Even the internet connection settings went well except for one minor glitch (Mail SMPT) didn't come on board so a manual configure was necessary before i could get any mail on the Admin side. The user side did just fine except parallels tools wanted to cause problems. I just shut the computer off then turned it back on and everything works fine.

I still can't stand those Blue folders and i'm not sure how soon i will install Leopard on my iMac but my Quicksilver G4 is next cause it's just a barebones system with hardly anything on it. Wish me the best!!!

Leopard seems to work well but I don't see any big advantages?

My Thinkpad is getting old and is out of warranty. The network card is dropping out, so I took the plunge.

Since you don't see the advantage of leopard and since Apple computers run leopard why take the plunge?
