I don't have Mac, on another thread talking about the release I suggested waiting a while to make sure the bugs where worked out, it sure seems like it has a few issues like crashing.

I am not saying Mac's are bad, in fact I am about to buy one for my sister, just saying that they can have issues as well.

It's always best to back up your statements with facts. Please provide links to the "crashing" issues on "new" Macs with Leopard, not on upgrades where 3rd party apps. may be the culprits . FYI, I loaded 10.5 on my MacBook last week and have had ZERO issues.

Why are Mac's fans are so defensive? The bottom line is that people had issues with the upgrade and you might be better off waiting.

Because the "issues" "in general" were caused by user error, or 3rd party software/plugins and should not be confused with a bad product that needs fixing. Facts always speak louder than generalizations .

No one is being defensive. They are just pointing out that you don't know what your talking about. You make statements with out a shred of evidence to support your comments (as you usually do) Then when someone calls you on it you get defensive and at times call it a personal attack.

If you wish to get an educated answere as to what the issue are regarding a Mac OSX Install ask first or at least read the information from verifiable sources then base your comments on what you have learned rather than what you've heard.
