Thanks to all of you for the well wishes! We will be together in Ukraine for a week the 30th of this month so we're counting down the days. We'll get a bunch of pictures and keep you posted!

I don't recall this mentioned: Does she speak English very well? Even if you speak fluent Russian, if she will be living in the USA, she will obviously need to learn English (or at least the variant they speak in Wisconsin). My son's best friend is Russian; his family came over 6 years ago. The dad speaks good English and gets along great. The mom is shy and has been reluctant to try speaking English in stores, etc, so she is still more reclusive, sticking to Russian friends and watching Russian movies.

As my ex-girlfriend is from Russia, I can answer this for you: Almost everyone in Russia speaks English as they learn it in grade school.

Yeah, she speaks very good English. We talk on the phone every day and she has gotten even better because of how much she has practiced.

Congrats to you. I have never thought about taking that sort of approach but I have ad friends find happiness and love on the online dating websites so anything is possible and like I said, congrats.

Please though, do get a prenuptial agreement. Regardless if you are marrying an Amercian, a Russian, or a Swede.
