You should have been there in the early 90's. Good thing I took pictures, because I don't remember much I was in Holland a lot for work as we had an office in Uden and would drive up to Amsterdam on the weekends.

Disclaimer: Not that we frequented the district that you're talking about, well, not more than once, but definitely did nothing more than "window shop".

Not quite sure what the controversy is.... I'm sure you guys can remember when you went to school.... did you not ask for help, advice, comments, and etc. from your friends? I'm simply doing the same thing. It only makes sense I'm asking the BMW community if my research is for BMW. Furthermore, I'm asking this board because I know there are many knowledgable people here. If you are one of those knowledgable people, but feel you shouldn't share your plethora of information to others, so be it. I won't leave sleep over it, simply asking for some help.

There's a big difference between posting questions and asking for answers (including site references! that was funny) and posting YOUR thoughts/answers and asking for a critique.

In the first instance, you're asking others to do your work for you. In the second, you've done the work and are asking for confirmation that your thoughts and ideas are correct/valid.

For competition you could also pick Audi and use those billboard war ads. I think Mercedes more or less competes with Lexus

I really don't want to get into this, but if you must know

1) I posted the exact questions so I didn't have to paraphrase it and people will understand exactly what is being asked.

2) If you rereard my original post, you can see that I wrote "If you have a site reference, that'll be great, if not, that's fine too"

3) I also wrote down what I have already, and certain things don't need require other's advice, such as the financial data (pretty straight-forward)

Lastly, I completely understand if you're vehemently against helping me or other people asking for help or if you simply mistook my post as asking members to do my project for me. I can assure you, that is not my intent. Feel free to criticize my project (the content of it)

Not sure which ads you're refering to? Isn't Audi owned by VW? I always thought of BMW's direct competitor as Mercedes (Daimler). Can anyone shed some light? I understand competitors are also Fiat, VW, Ford, Toyota, etc. but which would you say is the most competitive competitor?

The "whistling" smiley next to the thread title takes the cake.

Good luck with YOUR assignment.

...I've actually read/"edited" a couple of "papers" for a poster here,
and a poster on B'Fest; it was interesting and enjoyable.

I used to pump out English Lit type papers, back in the FratHouse,
for dough, for some of my less learned/lazy Bros...but, I agree with
Gresch and J.Belknap on this issue.

Tleong, hey toss it up here, when it is past initial draft stage, if you
want some comments.
