Hey guys, I'm doing a research project on BMW and I was hoping if you guys can chime in some ideas. If you do help, it would be greatly appreciated if you guys can cite your source; i.e.:"XYZ Website".... if you can't, that's fine too. Okay, here are the questions
Research the company thorougly including:
1a) Mission Statement (Already have)
b) History (Already Have)
c) Financial Strength (Already Have)
d) Strengths and Weaknesses (I have a SWOT Report, but additional info. couldn't hurt)
Weaknesses: long walks on the beach.
Strengths: Running away from your problems.
e) Opportunities and Risks
Choose a Competitor of your company (I'm thinking Daimler)
2) How is your company (BMW) the same or different from its competitor (Daimler) in the areas of:
a) Promotion (Expenditures, type)
b) Price (Above/below)
c) Product (Quality, Assortment)
d) lace (Distribution or placement of merchandise)
3) What is your assessment of your company's marketing strategy? Are they doing a good job reaching their target market? Make 2 suggestions as to how they could improve by making changes to any of the 4 P's (Price, product, promotion, place)
