tynash- one question, so I can determine if you are a whack job or not:

Do you believe children should be vaccinated? Say the standard US vaccination set.

Yes or No

The reason I ask is that- unlike the stuff you and JCL are 'discussing', the jury is in on vaccines.

Just curious

Are we talking about "clean" vaccinations or what the masses receive???
It's obvious that there are issues with the vaccines given to the general public. The elite can get "clean" vaccines...but, not us.

From my non scientific base of information...I'm sick that my kids got vaccines back in the early '90's. Fortunately, they survived...no complications discovered...YET. Sadly, the system is fixed to force vaccination unless you're home schooling. If my wife and I could do it again...we'd home school and no vaccinations! What you do for your kids is your choice. But, if you do choose to vaccinate...don't fear those that choose not to do so...after all, if you're vaccinated, you should have no worries with contracting the disease, right? But, the system cries bloody murder if your child comes to school without all their shots. WTF?

Honestly, I really don't care what anybody thinks about me.

It's a NO with a caveat. *If* vaccines were clean...I'm for it and can absolutely see the benefit.

Unfortunately, reality is these things are laced with substances known to be harmful to our brains.
In some cases, live polio was given in vaccinations...not cool!

Did you read the entire art in that 'news page'?

It did not suggest that polio vaccine, of either kind, was the culprit in the A'stan kids developing polio, but that water/food sources may have become contaminated from the lingering, down-chain source of the virus...

Anecdotal: I was one of the very lucky 'test kids' that got Salk's old method vaccine way back in 1st grade, circa '53. Kids in my school/my gang were getting polio like kids get strep throat and 'allergies' today. I got the real stuff in the blind test, and glad I did.

Back at the vaccine ranch, what the hell does a batch of A'stan kids getting polio have to do with whether polio vaccine today, is good or not good?

I think you need to read it again...here it is for everyone to see:

Immunity can then spread to communal water sources and increase immunity for greater portions of the population. This is not the cause for getting polio. It's why they utilize the OPV in places like Pakistan...due to the way it can reach more people.

As for your second question. Statistic don't mean a thing UNTIL YOU BECOME ONE. Obviously, there's something going on for those children to contract the disease, no?

But there is a problem with that claim. OPV has been used in North America, and around the world, since 1962. Here is a reference for you: Salk and Sabin: poliomyelitis immunisation -- Pearce 75 (11): 1552 -- Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry

So, the natural health news website you quote, the one run out of Taiwan and published by a group called "Truth Publishing", seems not to be able to look up basic facts. Now, I know nothing about Truth Publishing, but based on how easy it was to determine that they made some pretty basic mistakes, their credibility is shot, at least to me.

This is all apart from the fact that their article, as MD points out, doesn't show causality. It just tries to suggest it by sensationalizing the story, thus tricking readers who may not be able to separate fact from fiction. Apparently that strategy is working.
