143 days at work man....less than half a year. Would you go from mop boy to manager in that time???? And people have the nuts to say Palin isn't qualified

Sidebar:
Obama better run off and sit down for a nice chat with Iran.

Quote:
Top officials in Iran are proposing a preemptive strike against Israel to avoid an assault on its nuclear reactors, Israel's Haaretz newspaper reported Wednesday.

Senior Tehran official Dr. Seyed G. Safavi said at a recent briefing in London that the proposal followed threats by Israeli authorities, but a possible preemptive strike against Israel has not yet been incorporated into Iranian policy.

Israeli Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz said in June that Israel would be forced to strike Iran’s nuclear reactor if Tehran continues to pursue its controversial uranium enrichment program, Haaretz reported.

Safavi told the paper that Tehran recently drafted a new policy for responding to an Israeli or American attack on its nuke facilities. While the country previously called for attacks against Israel and American interests in the Middle East and beyond, the new policy is to target Israel alone.

In addition, Safavi said that Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards would respond to a U.S. attack on Iranian soil by attacking Israel, which they believe would be a part of any American military action.

The U.N. Security Council passed a dual-track resolution last month in a slow-moving pressure campaign to persuade Iran to give up objectionable parts of its nuclear program. It calls for offering Iran incentives to stop enriching uranium but imposing sanctions if Tehran refuses, which it has thus far done, The Associated Press reported.

I do struggle with the concept of a law professor not knowing how many states there are. So, if he wants to argue that there really are 57, then yes, I would be concerned.
This was taken out of context and is a complete non-issue. Obama was traveling from state to state to state at the time and he said it as a joke to imply that it sure seems like more than 50 states with as much bouncing around as he was doing.

This "misquote" is almost as bad as the "100 years in Iraq" that liberals use against McCain. Complete nonsense.

Are you sure about that, or did you just get caught up in the chain email fraud? Interesting that the title of the email is "FW: unbelievable food for thought." See the connection?

Don't worry, we'll do another stim package and lower rates, causing the dollar to fall in value..causing oil to go up and cost you more at the pump. Oil is down because demand sucks, inventories are up and the dollar is at a year and a half high against the euro right now ($1.28=>1) on todays exchange.

Along with the Iraq "$100/bbl sounds right" comments, I'm glad OPEC only supplies 40% of the oil and not 60%. Go on relations with Canada, go on If we can keep the dollar strong, prices will stay down.

Hey watch out;

Don't be trying to purport the correct understanding regarding what political pundits say.
Those who quote this stuff would rather their comments be taken out on context.
It lends itself to sensationalism, fear mongering, and salacious gossip. Anything but the truth........
