If those of you are still wondering why Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize, he got it because when it was decided, Obama was speaking to the world about ending our occupation of Iraq, trying to be more diplomatic in relation to other nations, etc... This is what most of the world was waiting for. Someone to represent the U.S. for the values we always claim to have; justice for all, no torture... Now, I'm not saying that he has achieved that goal. Obviously, I'm not happy we're adding more troops in Afghanistan. We need to get everyone home safely and get our act together here, for all the U.S. citizens. Also, just check out the amount we spend on the military in comparison to everything else. What a bunch of ..... Yes, I know we need a strong military, but come on.
