Have had the same problem. BMW Aus Have given me a list of compatible phones, however there is only 4 I can choose from and only one Nokia which is the brand I prefer.

Had mine for 5 months, and all I have had to do is put fuel in it and clean it weekly. Besides that 6,500 k's and loving evry minute of it!

Mines a May 2005 30l diesel. Only has 5500k's on the clock, and the fuel economy seems to be getting better each tank. Computer says 11.3l/100 and I am getting approx 800km out of the 93 litre tank....
